وَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ فِى قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٌۭ فَزَادَتْهُمْ رِجْسًا إِلَىٰ رِجْسِهِمْ وَمَاتُوا۟ وَهُمْ كَٰفِرُونَ
Wa 'ammā -lladhīna fī qulūbihim mmaraḍun fazādat'hum' rij'san 'ilā rij'sihim' wamātū wahum' kāfirūna
But those in whose hearts is a disease,- it will add doubt to their doubt, and they will die in a state of Unbelief.

For those with sickness in their hearts, each surah only added doubt to their doubt, and they died still rejecting.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How can the same rain help one plant and not another?"
Hoor Academy has a short At-Tawbah clip of Mahmoud Khalil Al-Husary reciting ayat 123–129. Play it all.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What does the surah add to sick hearts?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why does the same Qur'an affect hearts differently?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah At-Tawbah is surah 9. Find ayah 125. The same Qur'an increases faith in open hearts and doubt in closed ones. It's like rain that helps healthy plants but can't help dead ones. We ask Allah to keep our hearts healthy.
Fact: Find Al-Isra 17:82: the Qur'an is healing and mercy for believers.
Ages 5–8: Healthy heart. Ask Allah for a healthy heart.
Ages 9–12: Same rain. Write how the same Qur'an affects hearts differently.
Finish with: "The Qur'an is ___ and mercy for believers."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will ask Allah to keep my heart healthy."
Action: Ask Allah to keep your heart healthy.
