يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَكُونُوا۟ مَعَ ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ
Yā'ayyuhā -lladhīna 'āmanū (i)ttaqū -llaha wakūnū maʻa ṣṣādiqīna
O ye who believe! Fear Allah and be with those who are true (in word and deed).

O believers, be mindful of Allah and stay with those who are truthful.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Why do your friends matter?"
Play the short clip of Hamza Mustafa reciting ayat 118–122 of At-Tawbah, from his own channel.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who should we be with?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How do truthful friends help us?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah At-Tawbah is surah 9. Find ayah 119. After the story of the three who were saved by honesty, Allah tells us to be with truthful people. Good friends help us stay honest and close to Allah.
Fact: The title of Abu Bakr: as-Siddiq, the truthful.
Ages 5–8: Truthful friends. Name a friend who always tells the truth.
Ages 9–12: Good company. Write how friends shape who we become.
Finish with: "Abu Bakr was called as-___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will spend time with honest friends."
Action: Spend time with honest friends.
