4-I guide
This ayah continues: and you greedily gobble up the inheritance.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What's the fairest way to share a pizza between four people?"
Watch the BBC Earth video of a cuckoo chick that takes over another bird's nest. (It pushes out the other eggs; watch it first.)
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What are people doing with inheritance?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why is it wrong to take what belongs to others?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Fajr is surah 89. Find ayah 19. The key word at-turath means inheritance, what's left for family members when someone dies. Allah wants it shared fairly.
Fact: How does a cuckoo chick trick other birds into feeding it?
Ages 5–8: Fair shares. Share out a handful of raisins fairly between everyone at home. How did you make it fair?
Ages 9–12: Fairness rules. Write three rules for sharing fairly in a family. Why does Allah care so much about fairness?
Finish with: "I found that the cuckoo chick gets food by ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will share ___ fairly with ___."
Action: Practise fair sharing at every snack time.
