4-I guide
This ayah asks us to look at camels and think about how wonderfully they are made.
Start with bismillah.
Show a toy camel or a picture of one. Ask: "If you had to walk across a hot, sandy desert for many days, what would you need? Now, what would a camel need?"
Watch the first few minutes of the video about camels in the desert. What is one thing about camels you didn't know before?
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Why do you think Allah asks us to look at camels?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can a camel go so long without drinking?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Ghashiyah is surah 88. Find ayah 17. Then read the translation of the next three ayat. What else are we asked to look at?
Fact: What is stored inside a camel's hump? (Most people guess wrong!).
Ages 5–8: Camel detective. Look closely at the camel picture and at others in a book. Point to the eyelashes, the nostrils and the feet. Guess what each one helps the camel do in the desert.
Ages 9–12: Desert design challenge. List three problems of desert life (sand, heat, little water). For each one, find a part of the camel that helps. Then compare: what would people have to invent to do the same job?
Finish with: "I found that a camel's ___ helps it ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will look carefully at one creature at ___ and draw it with ___."
Action: Do your "careful looking" and bring your drawing to the family.
