4-I guide
Allah tells us that there is no soul without someone set over it to watch and protect it.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Can you think of three ways you were kept safe today without even noticing?"
Watch the Nemours KidsHealth video about how the immune system works.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who is left without a protector?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Who is watching over me right now?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah At-Tariq is surah 86. Find ayah 4. The key word hafiz means a guardian, someone who watches over and keeps safe. Many scholars explain that Allah sends angels to watch over each person.
Fact: What do white blood cells do when germs get into a cut?
Ages 5–8: Germ guards. Put glitter "germs" on your hands. Wash with water only, then with soap. Which works better?
Ages 9–12: Body defenders. Draw the body's three lines of defence: skin, white blood cells and antibodies. Label what each one does.
Finish with: "I found that my body protects me by ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will say alhamdulillah for one way I was protected."
Action: Say alhamdulillah for one way you was protected.
