The truly good people will be in delight.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What does it feel like to taste something really sweet when you're hungry?"
Watch National Geographic's slow-motion video of hummingbirds.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Where will the good people be?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What makes someone truly good?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Infitar is surah 82. Find ayah 13. The key words al-abrar and na'im mean the truly good people and delight. Jannah is more delightful than anything we know. A hummingbird's sweet flowers are only a tiny hint.
Fact: How many times a second does a hummingbird beat its wings?
Ages 5–8: Flower feeder. Draw a hummingbird visiting a flower. Colour the flower brightly!
Ages 9–12: Tiny bird facts. Find three amazing facts about hummingbirds (heartbeat, wing beats, weight).
Finish with: "I found that hummingbirds beat their wings ___ times a second."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will do one good deed every day, hoping for Jannah."
Action: Do one good deed every day, hoping for Jannah.
