4-I guide
He has great strength and a high rank with the Lord of the Throne.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What's the fastest thing in the universe?"
Watch the Dr. Binocs video about light.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "How is the messenger described?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How strong are the angels?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah At-Takwir is surah 81. Find ayah 20. The key words dhi quwwah mean full of strength. Scholars explain that Jibril has great power and a high place with Allah. (We don't draw or picture angels.)
Fact: How fast does light travel?
Ages 5–8: Light race. Shine a torch at a wall. Did you see the light travel, or was it instant?
Ages 9–12: Light time. Find out how long light takes to reach us from the Moon and from the Sun.
Finish with: "I found that light travels at about ___ kilometres a second."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will be strong and keep going with one good habit."
Action: Be strong and keep going with one good habit.
