Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What will their spending become?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why does wrong spending lead to regret?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Anfal is surah 8. Find ayah 36. The Makkan leaders spent huge amounts to fight Islam. It brought them only loss and regret. The ayah ends with one calm line about the Hereafter. Spending for good brings lasting reward.

Ages 9–12: Regret or reward. Write how spending can bring regret or reward.

• How will you spend well?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will spend some money on something good."
