ذَٰلِكُمْ فَذُوقُوهُ وَأَنَّ لِلْكَٰفِرِينَ عَذَابَ ٱلنَّارِ
Dhālikum' fadhūqūhu wa'anna lil'kāfirīna ʻadhāba nnāri
Thus (will it be said): "Taste ye then of the (punishment): for those who resist Allah, is the penalty of the Fire."

They will be told to taste their punishment, and that the disbelievers will have the punishment of the Fire.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Why does the Qur'an speak about consequences?"
Ayesha Tariq posted a short recitation of ayat 11–20 of Al-Anfal. Listen to all of it together.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who is this warning for?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can warnings help us?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Anfal is surah 8. Find ayah 14. This short ayah mentions the Fire in one line. It reminds us that rejecting Allah has a result. The believers are encouraged to stay on the path of mercy.
Fact: Find Al-Furqan 25:65, a dua to be protected from the Fire.
Ages 5–8: Protection dua. Learn 'Rabbana-srif 'anna 'adhaba jahannam'.
Ages 9–12: Mercy path. Write how to stay on the path of mercy.
Finish with: "We ask Allah to turn away the punishment of ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will make dua for protection."
Action: Make dua for protection.
