4-I guide
It is the news they disagree about.
Start with bismillah.
Show a colour and ask everyone to name it. Ask: "Did everyone call it the same thing?"
Watch the Colossal Cranium video "What is it Like to Be Colorblind?".
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What do people do about this news?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why do people see things differently?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah An-Naba is surah 78. Find ayah 3. The key word mukhtalifun means disagreeing, differing. Some believed in the Hereafter, some doubted, and some denied it.
Fact: How do our eyes see colours, and why do some people see them differently?
Ages 5–8: Colour sort. Sort crayons into groups. Does everyone sort them the same way?
Ages 9–12: Light split. Shine a torch through a glass of water onto white paper. Can you see colours?
Finish with: "I found that we see colours using ___ in our eyes."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, when I disagree with someone, I will speak politely."
Action: This week, when you disagree with someone, speak politely.
