4-I guide
Except for boiling water and a dark, foul drink.
Start with bismillah.
A gentle note for parents: keep this ayah very short.
Ask: "At what temperature does water boil?"
Watch the Dr. Binocs video about freezing, melting and boiling points.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What will they have to drink?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why does Allah describe it?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah An-Naba is surah 78. Find ayah 25. The key word hamiman means boiling water. Allah describes this so we never want to be there.
Fact: What happens to water when it boils?
Ages 5–8: Ice to steam. With an adult, watch an ice cube melt and then water steam in a pan. Draw the three stages.
Ages 9–12: Boiling points. Find out why water boils at a lower temperature on a high mountain.
Finish with: "I found that water boils at ___ degrees."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will make dua for protection for my whole family."
Action: Make dua for protection for your whole family.

Only an adult should handle boiling water.
