4-I guide
That person neither believed and gave, nor prayed.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How do you feel after you share or give something?"
Watch the 365give video Why Giving Makes You Happy.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What two things did this person not do?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why do giving and praying go together?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Qiyamah is surah 75. Find ayah 31. The key words fala saddaqa wa la salla mean he did not believe or give, and did not pray. Giving and praying are two habits of a believer: one for people, one for Allah.
Fact: What happens in the brain when we give to others?
Ages 5–8: Giving jar. Put a coin or toy in a jar each day to give away at the end of the week.
Ages 9–12: Two habits. Make a chart for one week: one column for salah, one for giving.
Finish with: "I found that giving makes the brain ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will give something every day and pray on time."
Action: Give something every day and pray on time.
