4-I guide
They will be in gardens, asking one another questions.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What would you plant in a garden to bring butterflies?"
Watch the Heather Maples video What is a Butterfly Garden?
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Where will they be?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What will people in Jannah talk about?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Muddaththir is surah 74. Find ayah 40. The key words fi jannatin yatasa'alun mean in gardens, asking each other. The people of the right will be in Jannah, beyond anything we can imagine. A garden full of butterflies is only a tiny hint.
Fact: Which flowers do butterflies like best?
Ages 5–8: Garden plan. Draw a butterfly garden with three kinds of flowers.
Ages 9–12: Butterfly count. Count butterflies in a garden or park for ten minutes. Which flowers did they visit?
Finish with: "I found that butterflies like ___ flowers."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will plant or water a flower for the butterflies."
Action: Plant or water a flower for the butterflies.
