وَأَنَّا لَا نَدْرِىٓ أَشَرٌّ أُرِيدَ بِمَن فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ أَمْ أَرَادَ بِهِمْ رَبُّهُمْ رَشَدًۭا
Wa 'annā lā nad'rī 'asharrun 'urīda biman fī l-'ar'ḍi 'am' 'arāda bihim' rabbuhum' rashadan
'And we understand not whether ill is intended to those on earth, or whether their Lord (really) intends to guide them to right conduct.

They said they do not know whether harm is meant for those on Earth or whether their Lord wants to guide them.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Can weather forecasters be completely sure about tomorrow?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What do the jinn admit they don't know?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why is it good to say 'I don't know'?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Jinn is surah 72. Find ayah 10. The key words la nadri mean we do not know. The jinn humbly admitted they don't know Allah's plan for people. Weather forecasters can only guess what is likely. Only Allah knows the future for certain.
Fact: What tools do weather forecasters use?
Ages 5–8: My forecast. Each morning, guess the weather for the afternoon. Were you right?
Ages 9–12: Forecast check. Compare a five-day forecast with what really happened.
Finish with: "I found that forecasters use ___ to predict the weather."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will say insha'Allah when I talk about plans."
Action: Say insha'Allah when you talk about plans.
