ٱدْعُوا۟ رَبَّكُمْ تَضَرُّعًۭا وَخُفْيَةً ۚ إِنَّهُۥ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱلْمُعْتَدِينَ
Ud'ʻū rabbakum' taḍarruʻan wakhuf'yatan . 'innahu lā yuḥibbu l-muʻ'tadīna
Call on your Lord with humility and in private: for Allah loveth not those who trespass beyond bounds.

Call on your Lord humbly and quietly, for He does not love those who go beyond limits.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How should you speak when asking Allah for something?"
Play the short clip from Daily Quran of Yasser Al-Dosari reciting ayat 54–56 of Al-A'raf.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "How should we call on Allah?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why make dua quietly?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-A'raf is surah 7. Find ayah 55. Dua is a personal conversation with Allah. We ask humbly and quietly, not showing off or making unreasonable demands.
Fact: In Maryam 19:3, Zakariyya called his Lord in a quiet voice.
Ages 5–8: Quiet dua. Make a quiet dua in your heart.
Ages 9–12: Dua manners. Write three manners of dua.
Finish with: "Zakariyya called his Lord ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will make a quiet, humble dua each day."
