۞ يَٰبَنِىٓ ءَادَمَ خُذُوا۟ زِينَتَكُمْ عِندَ كُلِّ مَسْجِدٍۢ وَكُلُوا۟ وَٱشْرَبُوا۟ وَلَا تُسْرِفُوٓا۟ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱلْمُسْرِفِينَ
yābanī 'ādama khudhū zīnatakum' ʻinda kulli mas'jidin wakulū wa-sh'rabū walā tus'rifū . 'innahu lā yuḥibbu l-mus'rifīna
O Children of Adam! wear your beautiful apparel at every time and place of prayer: eat and drink: But waste not by excess, for Allah loveth not the wasters.

4-I guide
O Children of Adam, wear your nice clothes at every place of prayer, and eat and drink, but do not waste, for Allah does not love those who waste.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How should you dress when you go to the masjid?"
Ummah Muslim posted a short recitation of ayah 31 of Al-A'raf. Listen to all of it together.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What does Allah not love?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why does Allah care about wasting?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-A'raf is surah 7. Find ayah 31. Allah tells us to look nice when we pray and to enjoy food and drink, but without wasting. Balance is key: enjoy, but don't overdo it.
Fact: How much food is wasted around the world each year? About a third of all food.
Ages 5–8: No waste plate. Take only what you'll finish at meals.
Ages 9–12: Balance. Write how to enjoy food without wasting.
Finish with: "About a ___ of the world's food is wasted."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will finish my food and not waste."
Action: Finish your food and not waste.
