وَإِن تَدْعُوهُمْ إِلَى ٱلْهُدَىٰ لَا يَتَّبِعُوكُمْ ۚ سَوَآءٌ عَلَيْكُمْ أَدَعَوْتُمُوهُمْ أَمْ أَنتُمْ صَٰمِتُونَ
Wa 'in tad'ʻūhum' 'ilāl-hudā lā yattabiʻūkum' . sawā'un ʻalay'kum' 'adaʻaw'tumūhum' 'am' 'antum' ṣāmitūna
If ye call them to guidance, they will not obey: For you it is the same whether ye call them or ye hold your peace!

If you invite idols to guidance they do not respond to you; it makes no difference whether you call them or keep quiet.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Would you talk to a stone expecting an answer?"
Settle down and play the start of Yasser Al-Dosari's Al-A'raf (AH QURAN STUDIO).
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Do idols respond?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why does Allah always hear us?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-A'raf is surah 7. Find ayah 193. Idols can't hear or respond. Calling them is pointless. Allah hears every whisper and answers.
Fact: The Name as-Sami': the All-Hearing.
Ages 5–8: Allah hears. Whisper a dua; Allah hears it.
Ages 9–12: Hearing. Write why only Allah hears every dua.
Finish with: "As-Sami' means the All-___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will make a quiet dua daily."
Action: Make a quiet dua daily.
