How to read it
Faghulibū hunālika wa-nqalabū ṣāghirīna
So the (great ones) were vanquished there and then, and were made to look small.

Pharaoh and his side were defeated there and turned back humbled.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What happens to pride when truth wins?"
Hear the opening minutes of Al-A'raf in Muhammad Al-Luhaidan's voice, from Tilawah Studio official .
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "How did Pharaoh's side end up?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why did pride lead to humiliation?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-A'raf is surah 7. Find ayah 119. Pharaoh gathered crowds expecting to win. Instead, his side was beaten and humbled in front of everyone.
Fact: Find Al-Qasas 28:4: Pharaoh was arrogant in the land.
Ages 5–8: Humble win. Talk about winning humbly.
Ages 9–12: Pride falls. Write how pride leads to falling.
Finish with: "Pharaoh was ___ in the land."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will be humble when I win."
Action: Be humble when you win.
