Ask: "Why did Musa ask Pharaoh to free a whole people?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did Musa ask Pharaoh to do?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why did Musa only speak the truth about Allah?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-A'raf is surah 7. Find ayah 105. The Children of Israel were treated as slaves in Egypt. Musa came with proof from Allah and asked Pharaoh to free them. A messenger only says the truth about Allah.

Fact: In Ta-Ha 20:47, Musa says the same.

Ages 5–8: Freedom. Talk about why everyone should be free and treated fairly.

Ages 9–12: Truth about Allah. Write why messengers only speak the truth.

Finish with: "Musa asked Pharaoh to let the Children of ___ go."
