Start with bismillah.

The Throne ('Arsh) is a great creation of Allah. Allah does not need it and is not on it like a king on a chair; Allah is greater than everything.

Hold up a grain of sand. Ask: "Could there be a whole world of galaxies in a patch of sky this small?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Where will the angels be?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How great must Allah's Throne be?" Younger children can draw theirs (no pictures of angels).

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Haqqah is surah 69. Find ayah 17. The key word al-'arsh means the Throne, and thamaniyah means eight. Only Allah knows how the Throne will be carried. A photo of distant galaxies, taken by Hubble of a tiny patch of sky, held thousands of galaxies, and the Throne is greater than all of creation.

Ages 5–8: Tiny patch. Make a hole in paper with a pencil and look at the sky through it. Imagine thousands of galaxies inside.

Ages 9–12: Scale ladder. Write in order: Earth, Sun, Milky Way, all galaxies. Then write: "Allah is greater."

Finish with: "I found that the Deep Field showed about ___ galaxies."
