4-I guide
The surah opens with one word: the Day that will surely come true.
Start with bismillah.
Show an optical illusion picture. Ask: "Can our eyes be tricked about what is real?"
Watch the Happy Learning video Sight and Optical Illusions.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What is the one-word name in this ayah?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why does the surah begin with just one word?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Haqqah is surah 69, and it has fifty-two ayat. Find ayah 1. The surah is named after its first word, al-haqqah, which means the sure reality: the Day that will certainly happen. Illusions can fool our eyes for a moment, but the Last Day is a reality that cannot be tricked away.
Fact: Why do two lines of the same length sometimes look different?
Ages 5–8: Illusion test. Draw two equal lines, add arrow ends pointing in and out, and ask your family which is longer.
Ages 9–12: Real or trick? Find two optical illusions and explain how each one fools the brain.
Finish with: "I found that our brain is tricked because ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will check before I believe something I hear."
Action: Check before you believe something you hear.
