أَمْ تَسْـَٔلُهُمْ أَجْرًۭا فَهُم مِّن مَّغْرَمٍۢ مُّثْقَلُونَ

Ask: "Why do volunteers help without being paid?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Did the Prophet ask for payment?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why did the Prophet never ask for money for his message?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Qalam is surah 68. Find ayah 46. The key word maghram means a burden of debt. The Prophet never asked people to pay for Allah's message. He gave it freely, hoping only for Allah's reward. Volunteers help for the joy of giving.
Fact: What kinds of volunteering can children do?
Ages 5–8: Free help. Do a job at home without being asked or rewarded.
Ages 9–12: Volunteer idea. Plan a small volunteering project with your class or family.
Finish with: "I found that children can volunteer by ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will help someone without expecting anything back."
Action: Help someone without expecting anything back.
