قُلْ أَرَءَيْتُمْ إِنْ أَصْبَحَ مَآؤُكُمْ غَوْرًۭا فَمَن يَأْتِيكُم بِمَآءٍۢ مَّعِينٍۭ
Qul' 'ara'ay'tum' 'in' 'aṣ'baḥa mā'ukum' ghaw'ran faman ya''tīkum bimā'in mmaʻīnin
Say: "See ye?- If your stream be some morning lost (in the underground earth), who then can supply you with clear-flowing water?"

Say: if your water sank deep into the ground one morning, who could bring you fresh flowing water?
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Where does the water in a well come from?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What if the water sank away?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How does Allah keep water flowing for us?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Mulk is surah 67. Find ayah 30, the last ayah. The key words ma'in ma'in mean flowing water. Wells reach water held underground. If it sank too deep, no one could bring it back except Allah. The surah ends by reminding us of a gift we use every day.
Fact: How deep are most water wells?
Ages 5–8: Water count. Count how many times you use water in one day.
Ages 9–12: Save water. Make a family plan to save water this week.
Finish with: "I found that most wells are about ___ deep."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will turn off the tap while brushing my teeth."
Action: Turn off the tap while brushing your teeth.
