Start with bismillah.

Fold a paper butterfly in half and paint one side, then press. Ask: "What do you notice?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What can we not find in Allah's creation?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why is there so much order and pattern in nature?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Mulk is surah 67. Find ayah 3. The key words min tafawut mean any mismatch or flaw. Allah invites us to look at the sky and search for cracks or mistakes. Leaves, shells and flowers are full of balance and pattern, signs of a wise Creator.

Fact: What is a line of symmetry?

Ages 5–8: Symmetry hunt. Find five things in nature that are the same on both sides.

Ages 9–12: Spiral search. Look for spirals in shells, sunflowers or pine cones and draw them.

Finish with: "I found that a line of symmetry is ___."

Talk together:

• Why do you think creation is so orderly?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• What patterns have you noticed in nature?
• How can looking closely make us thankful?
• What would you like to ask about this ayah?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will find one pattern in nature each day."
