Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Where does the Messenger bring people from, and to?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What is the light the Quran gives?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah At-Talaq is surah 65. Find ayah 11. The key words minaz-zulumati ilan-nur mean from the darknesses into the light. Without light we can't see where we're going. Allah's guidance is like light that shows the way, leading to gardens with flowing rivers.

Ages 5–8: Dark to light. Draw a picture half dark and half bright, with a path leading to the light.

Ages 9–12: Light facts. Find three things light can do (reflect, bend, split into colours).

Finish with: "I found that light travels at ___."
