ٱللَّهُ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ۚ وَعَلَى ٱللَّهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ
Allahu lā 'ilāha 'illā huwa . waʻalā-llahi fal'yatawakkali l-mu''minūna
Allah! There is no god but He: and on Allah, therefore, let the Believers put their trust.

Allah: there is no god but Him, so let the believers put their trust in Allah.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How do tiny baby turtles find their way to the sea?"
Watch the Be Smart video How Baby Sea Turtles Find Their Way Home. (It has music.)
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who should believers trust?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What does it feel like to really trust Allah?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah At-Taghabun is surah 64. Find ayah 13. The key words fal-yatawakkalil-mu'minun mean so let the believers rely on Him. Baby turtles head for the sea guided by what Allah placed in them, and later find their way back across whole oceans. Believers do their part and rely on Allah, the One God.
Fact: How do sea turtles find the beach where they hatched?
Ages 5–8: Turtle trip. Draw a turtle's journey from the beach across the sea and back.
Ages 9–12: Do and trust. Write one thing you'll prepare for this week and then leave to Allah.
Finish with: "I found that turtles find their beach using ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will do my best and then leave the result with Allah."
Action: Do your best and then leave the result with Allah.
