وَقَالُوا۟ لَوْلَآ أُنزِلَ عَلَيْهِ مَلَكٌۭ ۖ وَلَوْ أَنزَلْنَا مَلَكًۭا لَّقُضِىَ ٱلْأَمْرُ ثُمَّ لَا يُنظَرُونَ
Wa qālū law'lā 'unzila ʻalay'hi malakun . walaw' 'anzalnā malakan llaquḍiya l-'am'ru thumma lā yunẓarūna
They say: "Why is not an angel sent down to him?" If we did send down an angel, the matter would be settled at once, and no respite would be granted them.

They asked why an angel was not sent with him, but if an angel had come, the matter would have been settled at once with no more time given.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Why do you think Allah gives people time?"
Listen together as Maher Al-Muaiqly recites ayat 1–10 of Al-An'am, a short clip shared by | Maher Belajar Quran.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did they ask for?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why would an angel coming mean no more time?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-An'am is surah 6. Find ayah 8. Seeing angels openly is part of the unseen world becoming clear, which happens at death or on the Last Day. Allah gives people time to choose freely while the unseen stays hidden.
Fact: Al-Furqan 25:22 is about the day people will see the angels.
Ages 5–8: Time to choose. Talk about a time someone gave you a second chance.
Ages 9–12: Respite. Write what it means that Allah gives people time.
Finish with: "Allah gives people ___ to choose."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will use a second chance to do better."
Action: Use a second chance to do better.
