وَٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا يَمَسُّهُمُ ٱلْعَذَابُ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَفْسُقُونَ
Wa -lladhīna kadhdhabū bi'āyātinā yamassuhumu l-ʻadhābu bimā kānū yaf'suqūna
But those who reject our signs,- them shall punishment touch, for that they ceased not from transgressing.

Punishment will touch those who deny Allah's signs because they kept on disobeying.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What happens when someone keeps breaking a rule?"
a reciter recites Al-An'am on Quran Recitation Daily. A few minutes is plenty.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Why will punishment touch them?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why does continuing in wrong matter?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-An'am is surah 6. Find ayah 49. This ayah mentions, in one calm line, the result of denial. The key word is 'kept': staying in wrong without turning back. Tawbah is always open while we live.
Fact: Az-Zumar 39:53 says not to despair of Allah's mercy.
Ages 5–8: Turn back. Practise saying 'I'm sorry, I'll stop'.
Ages 9–12: Keep or turn. Write why turning back early matters.
Finish with: "Tawbah is always ___ while we live."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will stop one wrong habit quickly."
Action: Stop one wrong habit quickly.
