Ask: "Do animals have families and groups like us?"

Settle down and play the start of a reciter's Al-An'am (QuranOHadees).

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who are like us?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What can we learn from animal communities?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-An'am is surah 6. Find ayah 38. Ants, bees, birds and fish live in organised groups. This ayah invites us to respect animals and see Allah's wisdom in them. As a sign to ponder, scientists keep discovering how animals communicate and cooperate.

Ages 5–8: Animal groups. Name an animal group: a flock, a herd, a colony.

Ages 9–12: Animal research. Write about one animal community and how it works.

Finish with: "Bees share directions by ___."

Talk together:

• How should we treat animals?
• What animal community amazes you?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will be kind to an animal or put out water for birds."
