وَهُمْ يَنْهَوْنَ عَنْهُ وَيَنْـَٔوْنَ عَنْهُ ۖ وَإِن يُهْلِكُونَ إِلَّآ أَنفُسَهُمْ وَمَا يَشْعُرُونَ
Wa hum' yan'haw'na ʻan'hu wayan''aw'na ʻan'hu . wa'in yuh'likūna 'illā 'anfussahum' wamā yash'ʻurūna
Others they keep away from it, and themselves they keep away; but they only destroy their own souls, and they perceive it not.

They stop others from the truth and stay away from it themselves, yet they only ruin their own souls without realising.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Is it fair to stop someone from learning something good?"
Islam official146 posted a short recitation of ayat 21–30 of Al-An'am. Listen to all of it together.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who do they really harm?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why don't they realise it?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-An'am is surah 6. Find ayah 26. Some leaders in Makkah tried to stop people from hearing the Prophet. The ayah says the harm comes back on them.
Fact: Find the story of At-Tufayl ibn 'Amr, who was told to block his ears but listened and accepted Islam.
Ages 5–8: Open path. Build a path with blocks and remove the blocks.
Ages 9–12: Don't block. Write how we can help others learn good things.
Finish with: "Blocking good harms ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will help someone learn something good."
Action: Help someone learn something good.
