ٱلَّذِينَ ءَاتَيْنَٰهُمُ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ يَعْرِفُونَهُۥ كَمَا يَعْرِفُونَ أَبْنَآءَهُمُ ۘ ٱلَّذِينَ خَسِرُوٓا۟ أَنفُسَهُمْ فَهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ
Alladhīna 'ātay'nāhumu l-kitāba yaʻ'rifūnahu kamā yaʻ'rifūna 'ab'nā'ahumu -lladhīna khassirū 'anfussahum' fahum' lā yu''minūna
Those to whom We have given the Book know this as they know their own sons. Those who have lost their own souls refuse therefore to believe.

4-I guide
Those given earlier scriptures knew the Prophet as clearly as they knew their own sons, yet some still refused to believe.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How sure are you of your family's faces?"
Begin a reciter's Al-An'am on Dr. Farhat Hashmi Official and listen for a few minutes.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "How well did they recognise the Prophet?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why would someone deny what they know?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-An'am is surah 6. Find ayah 20. Earlier scriptures described a final prophet. Some scholars of those books, like 'Abdullah ibn Salam, recognised him and believed.
Fact: Al-Baqarah 2:146 uses the same comparison.
Ages 5–8: Recognise. Play a game guessing family members from clues.
Ages 9–12: Knowing and accepting. Write why knowing the truth is not enough without accepting it.
Finish with: "They knew him as they knew their own ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will admit when I'm wrong."
Action: Admit when you're wrong.
