Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why are palm trees so precious?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Hashr is surah 59. Find ayah 5. The key word linah means a young or fine palm tree. During these events, some palms were cut and some left, all by Allah's permission. Palm trees give dates, shade and wood; in Islam we are taught to value trees greatly.

Ages 5–8: Tree gifts. Draw a palm tree and label five things it gives us.

Ages 9–12: Tree care. Find out how farmers look after date palms.
