Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did Allah decree for them?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why does Allah sometimes give a lighter result in this world?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Hashr is surah 59. Find ayah 3. The key word al-jala' means leaving home, exile. Instead of a harder punishment in this world, Allah decreed that they leave Madinah. Animals migrate to survive; these people had to move because of their own broken promises.

Fact: Which animal travels the furthest every year?

Ages 5–8: Migration map. Draw a bird flying from a cold place to a warm place.

Ages 9–12: Choices and results. Write how keeping a promise can protect a whole group.

Finish with: "I found that the furthest traveller is the ___."
