Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did the hypocrites promise?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why do people make promises they won't keep?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Hashr is surah 59. Find ayah 11. The key words innahum la-kadhibun mean they are surely liars. The hypocrites made big promises they never meant to keep. A cracked vase looks whole until you pour water in. Real promises hold.

Fact: Why do people trust someone who keeps small promises?

Ages 5–8: Promise check. Make a small promise today and keep it.

Ages 9–12: Big words, small actions. Write why it's better to promise less and do more.
