Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How wide is a garden as wide as the sky and earth?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Hadid is surah 57. Find ayah 21. The key word sabiqu means race. After describing worldly competition, Allah tells us the race worth running: to His forgiveness and a garden as wide as the heavens and earth. In this race, everyone can win.

Fact: How wide is the Earth around the middle?

Ages 5–8: Good deed race. Have a family race to see who can do the most kind acts in a day.

Ages 9–12: Big and bigger. Compare the size of the Earth and the sky. Then imagine Jannah wider still.

Finish with: "I found that the Earth is about ___ km around."
