Start with bismillah.

Squeeze a little toothpaste out. Ask: "Can you put it back in?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What will not be accepted that Day?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why is now the time to fix our mistakes?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Hadid is surah 57. Find ayah 15. The key word fidyah means a ransom. On that Day no one can pay their way out. Like toothpaste that can't go back in the tube, some things can't be undone later, so we fix our mistakes now while we can.

Fact: Why is toothpaste so hard to get back into the tube?

Ages 5–8: Toothpaste test. Try to put squeezed toothpaste back in (with an adult). What happens?

Ages 9–12: Fix it now. List one mistake you can still put right this week.

Finish with: "I found that toothpaste won't go back because ___."

Talk together:

• Why can't anything be bought on that Day?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• What can we fix while there is still time?
• Why does Allah warn us so clearly?
• What would you like to ask about this ayah?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will put one mistake right."

• Try the toothpaste test.
• Share fix it now.
• Next time: the next ayah (57:16) asks if it's time for hearts to soften. Explore it together!
