Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Where is the believers' light?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What deeds will make my light brighter?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Hadid is surah 57. Find ayah 12. The key words yas'a nuruhum mean their light runs ahead. Believers' good deeds will become light that guides them on that Day. Glow-in-the-dark toys store light and shine later; our deeds are like that too.

Fact: How do glow-in-the-dark materials store light?

Ages 5–8: Glow test. Hold a glow-in-the-dark toy under a lamp, then turn off the light.

Ages 9–12: Light deeds. List five deeds you think add to a believer's light.

Finish with: "I found that glow-in-the-dark things work by ___."
