سَبَّحَ لِلَّهِ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۖ وَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ
sabbaḥa lillahi mā fī ssamāwāti wal-'ar'ḍi . wahuwa l-ʻazīzu l-ḥakīmu
Whatever is in the heavens and on earth,- let it declare the Praises and Glory of Allah: for He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.

Whatever is in the skies and the earth glorifies Allah, the Almighty, the Wise.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How can thousands of fireflies flash at the very same moment?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What do all things in the heavens and earth do?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How do fireflies glorify Allah?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Hadid is surah 57, and it has twenty-nine ayat. The surah is named after al-hadid, iron (ayah 25). Find ayah 1. The key word sabbaha means glorified. Fireflies in some forests flash together like one big light show; all creation glorifies Allah in harmony.
Fact: Why do some fireflies flash together at the same time?
Ages 5–8: Flash together. Turn torches on and off together with your family on the count of three.
Ages 9–12: Nature in sync. Find two other examples of animals doing things together in time.
Finish with: "I found that fireflies flash together because ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will say subhanAllah with my family after one salah each day."
Action: Say subhanAllah with your family after one salah each day.
