4-I guide
That fruit is never cut off and never kept from them.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How can we buy apples even when it isn't apple season?"
Watch the PBS Terra video The Secret Life Of Apples After Harvest.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What two things will never happen to the fruit of Jannah?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why does fruit have a season here but not in Jannah?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Waqi'ah is surah 56. Find ayah 33. The key words la maqtu'ah wa la mamnu'ah mean never cut off and never forbidden. Here, most fruit grows only at certain times of year, and people store it carefully to make it last. In Jannah, fruit never runs out and nobody is ever stopped from taking it.
Fact: How long can apples be kept fresh after they are picked?
Ages 5–8: Season chart. Draw four boxes for the seasons and put a fruit that grows in each one.
Ages 9–12: Where from? Look at three fruits at home and find out which country they came from and why.
Finish with: "I found that apples can be kept for about ___ months."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will thank Allah for one food I have every day."
Action: Thank Allah for one food you have every day.
