4-I guide
In Jannah nobody will hear pointless chatter or hurtful words.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What happens to a story when it's passed from person to person?"
Watch the Mindful Moments Kids video The Rumor.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What kind of talk will never be heard in Jannah?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why is Jannah free of hurtful words?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Waqi'ah is surah 56. Find ayah 25. The key words laghw and ta'thim mean useless talk and sinful talk. Gossip, teasing and lies can hurt people deeply. In Jannah, every word is kind and true. We can practise that now by choosing our words carefully.
Fact: About how many words does a person say in one day?
Ages 5–8: Kind words only. For one meal, everyone may only say kind or useful things. How did it feel?
Ages 9–12: Message chain. Whisper a sentence along a line of people and see how it changes at the end.
Finish with: "I found that a person says about ___ words a day."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will change the subject when someone starts to gossip."
Action: Change the subject when someone starts to gossip.
