4-I guide
So which of your Lord's favours will you two reject?
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How does an eraser rub out pencil marks?"
Watch the Design Squad video How Does an Eraser Work?
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Before that Day, what can we still do about our mistakes?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Can Allah wipe away my mistakes?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ar-Rahman is surah 55. Find ayah 40. The key words fa bi-ayyi mean so which. An eraser lifts pencil marks off the page. In this life, saying astaghfirullah sincerely and doing good can wipe away our mistakes, by Allah's mercy. That chance is a huge favour.
Fact: What are erasers made of, and how do they pick up pencil marks?
Ages 5–8: Wipe clean. Draw a smudge, rub it out and say astaghfirullah.
Ages 9–12: Good after bad. Write three mistakes people make and a good deed that could follow each one.
Finish with: "I found that erasers work by ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will say astaghfirullah ten times each day."
Action: Say astaghfirullah ten times each day.
