4-I guide
Have you seen the one who turned away?
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What helps you keep going when something is hard?"
Watch the Disney Kids video Not Giving Up Just Yet!
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did this person do?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why do people turn away from good?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah An-Najm is surah 53. Find ayah 33. The key word tawalla means he turned away. Scholars say this ayah describes a man who began to listen to the truth but then turned his back on it. Starting is good, but carrying on is what counts. We can learn to keep going with good even when it's hard.
Fact: What are three ways to keep going when you feel like quitting?
Ages 5–8: Keep going chart. Pick one good habit and colour a square each day you keep it.
Ages 9–12: Don't turn back. Write about a time you almost gave up on something good and what helped you continue.
Finish with: "I found that ways to keep going are ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will keep a good habit going every day."
Action: Keep a good habit going every day.
