Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "When can the angels speak up for someone?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why does even an angel need Allah's permission?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah An-Najm is surah 53. Find ayah 26. The key word shafa'ah means speaking up for someone. Even the angels, who are close to Allah, cannot help anyone unless Allah allows it. Asking permission is a sign of respect. Everything happens only by Allah's permission.

Fact: What polite words do we use to ask permission?

Ages 5–8: May I? Practise asking "May I please...?" for three things today.

Ages 9–12: Respect rules. Write why asking permission shows respect at home and school.

Finish with: "I found that polite words for permission are ___."
