4-I guide
They will be told to taste the trial they once asked to hurry.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Have you ever rushed into something and wished you hadn't?"
Watch the KIDZOKI video Late Again?! Rushing Makes Everything WORSE! (It has music.)
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What had these people asked to hurry?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why would anyone ask for a warning to come sooner?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Adh-Dhariyat is surah 51. Find ayah 14. The key word tasta'jilun means you asked to hurry. The deniers laughed and said, "Bring it on, then!" They thought the warning was a joke. Rushing and mocking without thinking leads to regret. Wise people take warnings seriously and slow down.
Fact: What happens to our thinking when we rush?
Ages 5–8: Slow and steady. Carry a spoon with a small ball across the room, first fast, then slowly.
Ages 9–12: Pause plan. Write three times when stopping to think would help you.
Finish with: "I found that when we rush, our thinking ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will count to five before answering when I feel rushed."
Action: Count to five before answering when you feel rushed.
