وَمَا لَنَا لَا نُؤْمِنُ بِٱللَّهِ وَمَا جَآءَنَا مِنَ ٱلْحَقِّ وَنَطْمَعُ أَن يُدْخِلَنَا رَبُّنَا مَعَ ٱلْقَوْمِ ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ
Wa mā lanā lā nu''minu bi-llahi wamā jā'anā mina l-ḥaqqi wanaṭ'maʻu 'an yud'khilanā rabbunā maʻa l-qaw'mi ṣṣāliḥīna
"What cause can we have not to believe in Allah and the truth which has come to us, seeing that we long for our Lord to admit us to the company of the righteous?"

They said: why should we not believe in Allah and the truth that has come to us, when we long for our Lord to include us with the righteous?
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What do you hope for most?"
Here are ayat 84–90 from A.A.H. (Abu Al Humaira). Listen first, then share one feeling the sound gave you.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did they long for?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why did belief seem so natural to them?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Ma'idah is surah 5. Find ayah 84. Their hearts were ready. They wanted to be among the righteous. Good company in this life and the next is a beautiful hope.
Fact: In Yusuf 12:101, Yusuf asks to join the righteous.
Ages 5–8: Good company. Name righteous people you want to be with in Jannah.
Ages 9–12: Hope. Write your du'a to be with the righteous.
Finish with: "They longed to be with the ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will ask Allah to keep me with good people."
Action: Ask Allah to keep you with good people.
