Start with bismillah.

Ask: "Why follow the instructions of the one who made something?"

A short clip on Mohd Naim Moksin recites ayat 41–50 of Al-Ma'idah. Play the whole clip.

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What should they judge by?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why judge by what Allah sent?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Ma'idah is surah 5. Find ayah 47. Each community was asked to follow its revealed guidance. Allah's guidance is best because He knows us best.

Fact: Al-Mulk 67:14 asks: does He not know whom He created?.

Ages 5–8: Maker's guide. Talk about why toy instructions come from the maker.

Ages 9–12: Allah knows best. Write why Allah's guidance suits people.

Finish with: "Allah knows those He ___."

Talk together:

• What should they judge by?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• Why Allah's guidance?
• How do you follow it?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will ask 'what does Allah want?' before choosing."

• Follow Allah's guidance.
• He knows best.
• Obey.
• Next time: the next ayah (5:48) says the Qur'an guards earlier books. Explore it together!
