Start with bismillah.

Ask: "What does a path of peace look like?"

a reciter recites Al-Ma'idah on NgajiBareng04. A few minutes is plenty.

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Where does Allah bring people from and to?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Who does Allah guide by the Book?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Ma'idah is surah 5. Find ayah 16. The Qur'an leads to peace in the heart, in the family and in the Hereafter. As-Salam is a name of Allah, and Islam itself comes from the same root as peace.

Ages 5–8: Peace path. Draw a path from dark to light.

Ages 9–12: Darkness to light. Write about something that brought you from worry to peace.

Finish with: "Islam and salam share the root ___."

Talk together:

• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• Where are they brought?
• Where do you need peace?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will greet everyone with salam."
