وَلِلَّهِ جُنُودُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ عَزِيزًا حَكِيمًا
Wa lillahi junūdu ssamāwāti wal-'ar'ḍi . wakāna -llahu ʻazīzan ḥakīman
For to Allah belong the Forces of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is Exalted in Power, Full of Wisdom.

Every force in the skies and on earth is Allah's, and He is Mighty and Wise.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How many insects do you think live on Earth?"
Watch the TED-Ed video Why are there so many insects?
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What belongs to Allah?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What are Allah's forces in nature?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Fath is surah 48. Find ayah 7. The key word junud means forces or armies. Wind, rain, angels and even tiny insects all work by Allah's command. There are about ten quintillion insects alive at any time. Everything in creation is under His control. It is a sign to ponder.
Fact: Roughly how many insects are alive on Earth at any time?
Ages 5–8: Bug hunt. Find five tiny creatures in a garden or park.
Ages 9–12: Forces list. List ten "forces" in nature that do Allah's work, like rain and bees.
Finish with: "I found that there are about ___ insects alive."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will be gentle with insects and other small creatures."
Action: Be gentle with insects and other small creatures.
