Start with bismillah.

Ask: "Can you name any prophets before Muhammad?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What does the Prophet say he follows?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why did Allah send so many prophets?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Ahqaf is surah 46. Find ayah 9. The key word bid'an means something brand new. The Prophet Muhammad was the last in a long line of messengers bringing the same message: worship Allah alone. He was humble and said he did not know the unseen; he only followed what Allah revealed.

Fact: Who is often called the first messenger sent to people?

Ages 5–8: Prophet chain. Make a paper chain with one prophet's name on each link.

Ages 9–12: Same message. Pick three prophets and write the shared message they brought.

Finish with: "I found that the first messenger was ___."

Talk together:

• Why is it comforting that the Prophet was not the first?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• What does the Prophet's humility teach us?
• Which prophet's story do you like most?
• What would you like to ask about this ayah?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will learn the story of one prophet I don't know well."
