Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What do the wrongdoers wrongly think?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How will Allah make everything fair in the end?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Jathiyah is surah 45. Find ayah 21. The key word sawa'an means equal, the same. In this world, cheaters sometimes seem to win and good people sometimes suffer. But Allah will never treat a wrongdoer and a believer who does good as if they were the same. His justice is complete, even if we can't see it yet.

Ages 5–8: Fair share. Share out a snack fairly between family members and talk about how it felt.

Ages 9–12: Unfair now, fair later. Write about something that seemed unfair and how believing in Allah's justice helps.

Finish with: "I found that the Just is ___."

• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• How does Allah's justice comfort us?
• How can we be fair to others?
• What would you like to ask about this ayah?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will be fair even when no one would notice if I wasn't."
